Modern medicine is built for single problems with single answers. Complex cases — the ones that run across systems, that span years, that have never fully responded to anything — don't fit that model. They require someone to sit with everything at once and find what connects.

That's what I do. I read cases. Slowly, and in full. I work in constitutional homeopathy, naturopathic medicine, and functional assessment. I also help people navigate — when to push, when to stop, when a specialist is exactly right and when they're not.

Most complex cases don't need more intervention. They need fewer things, in the right order, chosen by someone who has seen the whole picture.

A concise summary of what I found: what connects, what the pattern is, and a treatment plan in therapeutic order. I look for the minimum number of interventions most likely to move your case — not a protocol list, a precise direction. In writing, yours to keep.

Dr. Tice is the Medical Director of Red Rock Naturopathic in West Sedona. His practice is built around the complex case — patients whose symptoms cross systems, whose records cross practitioners, and whose story has never been read as a whole. He is trained in naturopathic medicine, classical homeopathy, Ayurvedic assessment, and functional diagnostics. He also works as a medical advocate, helping patients navigate the gaps between specialists and understand what their workup has — and hasn't — been telling them.

Is this right for me if my situation is recent or straightforward?

Probably not. This review is built for long, layered histories. If your concern is recent and contained, a standard visit with a local naturopath will serve you better — and cost you less.

What if I don't have recent labs?

Your history holds most of the pattern. If testing is needed, that becomes part of the direction I give you — what to run, where, and why.

Is this a second opinion?

In a sense, yes — though I'm not asking whether your diagnosis is correct. I'm asking whether your case is complete. Whether the pieces have been connected. In most complex cases, they haven't.

What happens after the review?

You'll receive a clear recommendation for your next step. For some, the review is sufficient on its own — a map they can use independently. For others, continued care makes sense. That call comes from your case, not a sales pitch.

Do you work with people outside Arizona?

Yes. Telemedicine is available. Location is confirmed during the application process.

Is a cure being promised?

No. What I can promise is sustained attention, honest pattern recognition, and a clear direction. In a complex case, that's usually what's been missing.
